Fighting Fake News

Your Instructional librarians have created an online tutorial called "Is this Fake News?" to help your students navigate source credibility and defeat fake news! This tutorial helps students define fake news, encourages them to view information through a critical lens, and leads them through activities to practice assessing news content. This activity is estimated to take about 45 minutes.

Newly Updated Book Search on Website

The book search on our own lib.mnsu.edu has been updated! It is now labeled the "Books & Media" tab and will search for all types of materials, even ebooks. If you're looking for a Thesis or APP however, be sure to check the small box below the search box!


Narrowing Your Topic Tutorial

A lot of students have trouble trying to focus their topics. This video was created to help them understand the idea of narrowing their topic and shows examples of how to do it.


LIbrary Lightning Tour

A group on campus recently requested a video tour of the library, so here it is! A 10-minute lightning tour of all four floors, complete with maps and lots of information about resources at the library!
